I've already make all the tests to check this out but in fact the cars still follow the line without doing anything else... As far as I remember.

Remember, Revolt is recommended for children.
If the AI is too good Little Johnny Jackoff could never
win the Gold Cup. So the Revolt AI is limited.
What is needed is a racing line that makes the CPU cars
go faster than their rated top speed. Of course this would
be over used and we would have tracks no human driver
could ever beat. The CPU cars don't seem to know or care
what the human drivers are doing.
They seem only to know if a car is in front of them (to shoot
weapons at) or where the AI nodes are narrow (to drop oil and
mock bombs).
When doing AI I only work on the Humma making clean
and fast laps (the Humma being the only car than can beat
a human driver with a Toyeca who know the track layout
(perhaps Cougar too on full speed tracks).
A few Max shortcuts: In Modifier dropdown window hit the
first letter of the modifier to go to it, example: Unwrap UVW, hit the
u key, Bend hit the b key. With ver 5 hit the g key to toggle the grid lines,
and 7 key to see the Face counter.
Sometimes the Max shadows make things hard to see in the windows,
go to Rendering/Environment/global Lighting/Ambient and set the color lower, I use Value 128.
You can also set the path where things are Saved. I set Export path to the
ASE Tools folder. |

The navigation icons on this site are too shaded and hard
to read, even with my cheap drugstore reading glasses.
No comments about my 'Little Johnny Jackoff' phrase?
That's OK, I know there are only 5 people in this here
world who make Revolt tracks with Max.
I've been watching Gavin and Stacey on BBC America, so
along with Shameless and AbFab I now know all about what
British people are like.
Any more Max tips and shortcut info would be nice.
I just realized the world is made of Max's Standard Primitives!
Planes, Boxes, Cylinders, Spheres, etc. I leave out Teacups,
that is strange. |

The teapot was the first 3D object that has been modeled, but no one use it in max.
I'd like to write some tutos about max and lot of other great programs, but I still have no enough time... And waiting for Skitch2's one
